31 October 2007 Well, it was a treat! At least for some of us. Others found it more tricky... Our Halloween tournament had a clear winner in Guillem. Just like Pete, Neil and Julia, he won four of his five games, but his only loss was a close one (21-19) and his wins were pretty big ones (21-12 and 21-13 amongst them). So he ended with 11 more points than the other three, who shared second place. Rob Hughes finally made his debut, and he clearly hadn't yet adapted to the format. He lost all his games. Marc did his best to take the last position, with two massive 21-12 defeats, but his single win just kept him above Rob. In the overall standings, Guillem is obviously also in the lead. He has won the first two tournaments and the people just below him in the table have played just one tournament. They will still have to show that their performance hasn't been a fluke. Neil made the biggest jump forward (from 15 to 5), closely followed by Julia (from 17 to 10). Panayotis was the biggest loser yesterday, but Dean, Alan, and Kerstin also lost ground. Marc is settling in nicely in the lower regions of the table. Deirdre maintained her position as leading lady.
